It is safe to use in the microwave, dishwasher and oven.

What is a thumbswirl?   

A thumbswirl is our technical term for an impression in the center of a

bowl or platter that is made with Dwight's thumb when he is creating the  piece.  It adds a nice dimension and further enhances the creation.
