the potters

As natives of the Northwest

and observant travelers of the world,

these two collaborating artists draw inspiration

for their stoneware creations from their

surroundings and natural resources

Since Dwight is mainly self-taught, he has

developed his own individual throwing style.

For nearly 25 years he has been creating his

unique shapes on the potter's wheel.  For the

past 10 years, Dwight's artwork has been a

blank canvas for Regina --  also self-guided in the art world --  to enhance even further.

In combination with their vibrant glazes,

she hand-paints original designs to each piece

using intricate and arduous resisting processes.

Each piece comes to life through a second

kiln firing to temperatures exceeding

2200 degrees Fahrenheit,

which ensures the highest of quality.

Working together in their small Idaho

home studio,

they pride themselves

on solely creating each

unique piece from

start to finish without

the aid of assistants or

employees.

They exhibit and sell

their one-of-a-kind

creations at art shows around the country.
